Every new dxcc i’m sending direct. Bureau is taking a lot time to get the card. Also every dxpedition cost a lot of money. So a small donation and a fee for the return of the qsl is that normal for me to do it.
In what kinda other are doeing it is up to them. Im a dx hunter and ofcourse i like to have the qsl as fast as it can confirmed. If this cost me a small amound on dollars i have to deal with that.

Today i have recieved a very very nice qsl card. FW0NAR was hard to catch. With my ears almost in the tranciever i managed to get a qso on 30mtr. Propagation was not good.

Thank to HA0NAR and his xyl i’ve got a new dxcc confirmed. Number 311 🙂 🙂

Chasing again Dx. That is the way i like HF.  Working as many slots from any dxpedition.
It not to prove myself against another. But im having fun to reach the highest score for myself.
Also the 3 modes i like to work. SSB, CW and RTTY.
From the first moment 7O6T was starting even i had no chance to work it on 20mtr. What a pile up.
In one word asume. Also the Rtty pile is so hugh that working 7o6t will take you hours.

A most wanted dxcc is getting a pile up thats for sure.
5th of may i worked 7O6T on 30 and 40mtr. But people where spotting that they went qrt. I always say Work first Worry later.

And lucky this became later for real 🙂

The final goal also for this Dxpedition is the Full house option. the 14th of may we reached this status.

No rtty on 30m and 40mtr has been done. So there are no more slots to work.

What is it with Dxpedition these days. Why are people tuning, calling, making qrm on top of a dxpedition.

I think most people are asking the same question again and again.
It can be:

– No ham operating practice
– No internet
– Don’t watch a cluster to see whats on that qrg
– Not listen on the qrg
– Jamming because they don’t have the gear to work it
– No hamspirit

I really have no idea why people payed so much money to be a ham operator and then jamming a dxpedition. It that the way to play with a hobby.

Many articles are written on the internet i think is not helping at all.
I think the fault is beening made to the first steps of the exam. Nobody gets any Ham operating practice after they pass there exam.

If you get your driving license did you get only 40 question in multiple choice? NO!!!

Just my 2 cent to see where the problems starts.

We talked long about it.
But ultimately  yesterday was the day that Ab PA5ABW paid a visit in the shack of PE2MC.
The purpose see the hamshack and equipment. And after that making some cw qso’s.

If first we went looking for A35YZ. Which turned out to hear on SSB 17mtr  and CW 20mtr later on.

It is both Ab and me succeeded to work A35YZ on 17mtr SSB. For 20mtr something went wrong in the log. We were both convinced that Ab has made the Qso. Only the Log the day later is showing the QSO 17mtr SSB only.

Here a small movie that Ab a qso makes later in the day. Expanded word necessary CW magazine told over and over again.

After chasing PJ7PT I finally have reached a Full house again.

No goal is there for 6mtr 80mtr or 160mtr. I don’t have the gear for that.

2 people on the island made the best of it.  And qso they have made 41904 are huge.

Tnx for the great opportunity

There are a few people that are having problem with the noise of the Alpha9500 blower.
If you have guarantee just mail Alpha ( RFconcepts) and you will get a new blower.
But if the warranty is over mabe this tutorial will help ya solve the problem.

The first step 1:
Put your Linear on its side of so you can reach the bottom of the amplifier. You will see 2 plates with a lot of screws. Remove them all and take the blower out of the Amplifier. The blower is connected with a simple plug and play connector.

The second Step 2: ( Picture numbers are in front of each explanation)
– 1: we are ready to dissemble the blower parts.
– 2: remove the ring
– 3+4 : Then remove the two screws of the Blower. Turn the blower counter clockwise to loosen the screws.
– 5+6 : Now the blower housing can be removed. Use a big screwdriver to remove the house from the tape.
– 7+8: Then remove the two big screws from the motor.
– 10: Then remove the small round plate from the axle of the motor.

– 11: Now the tricky parts comes. Push with two fingers the locking pin to remove it.
– 12: Then remove the 2 rings that are below the locking pin on the axle of the motor.
– 13+14: Now you can remove the coil of the motor and start to lubricate the axle of the motor with Teflon oil.

– Before you reassemble all the parts just turn the coil on the axle as many times as you like, to see if the coil will turn easily on the axle.
– Reassemble all parts in reverse order. Before closing the small round plate, lubricate it with a little Teflon inside. Each time the blower turns, it will lubricate itself.

73″ all hope this will help ya out with the noise of the Alpha 9500 blower.
