If you like to connect with a reflector on Dstar we know the usual way.
Unlink
YOUR: U
RPT1: PI1UTR B
RPT2: PI1UTR G
Link to a new reflector
YOUR: DCS007 (x)
RPT1: PI1UTR B
RPT2: PI1UTR G
Linking to a reflector is done in the way above.
Resent i did hear that connecting to a reflector can also be done with DTMF.
As D-star is very new there is not much info on the internet about it.
Lucky i found some info on a few UK site about linking with DTMF.
Example:
DTMF commands
0 = Link Status
# = Unlink
*36A = Link to Dplus Reflector 36A
D502 = Link to DCS005B (UK National DCS Reflector)
D513 = Link to DCS005M (Midland DCS Reflector)
It’s still in the testing fase. But if you like to try it working on the dutch repeater Pi1UTR.
I have no idea if this works on any other repeater.
Another question is how does it work on my IC-E92D.
Just program it on the DTMF memmories. There are 10 places.
When you key the TX then press the number to send the DTMF code.
Example:
CHN01: *D701*
Press TX and hold it. Then press 1. Your IC92D will send *D701* as a tone slot to the repeater.
If the repeater know this DTMF code it will connect to the reflector you like to hear.
Ofcourse there are many more dtmf tone slots. Look on http://www.xreflector.net/neu3/
