The Family is back home from EA6.
I had a prefect time with the sun and in my spare time some radio.
We did not do much with the radio. The firt prio was ofcourse the holliday. Have fun with the family.
Tnx all who worked me on the island.
Update is under Dxpeditions Mallorca 2010. Log will be updated ASAP. And qsl will be send out 100%
Here a nice picture from my kids. Enjoy the sun and there new clothes.
I will post some new pictures later on this day
I’ve been on the island for a few days. What amaze me the most is that i work Japan very easy on my wire dipole.
The most contact are in Rtty. This because late in the evening the kids are sleeping and i’m not allowed to make to much noise.
A well we can make contact all over the world. And still have fun with the radio in my spare time.
A few contact that we made.
And of course many more.
I have about 100 contact now in the log. The log is online via Clublog.org and when i’m back i will look if LOTW is a option.
See ya all on the island.
New IOTA activation from EA6 (EU004)
From 16-7-2010 till 25-07-2010 i will be on the island of Mallorca.
I will bring equipment. Only the antenna will be less then on Ameland.

The last update of Ameland Isl Eu038
Ameland again a big hit. At first i had of course a few problems. I stepped on the Fishing dipole so this one section is broke again. Also in 2009 one element was broke and had to be replaced. What i did learn was the SWR on 40mtr. When this is going up the Fishing pole in comming down. And again this happend. So i also had to fix this. I rememberd the wind on Ameland. A little peparation is needed to stablize the flagpole. It’s ok to cary the dipole without any wind 🙂 . Also has a few request for 6mtr this year. I worked a lot of Eu stations it was fun. A total op 917 qso’s in the log. Worked 59dxcc and 159 slots. All the qsl data is uploaded via Eqsl and Clublog.
If you need any more information just send me a note. No need to send any qsl. I will send out all the qsl’s via globalqsl.com. But if you don’t have a bureau just send me a qsl direct. Don’t forget the postage and the SAE.
Thank you for Ameland 2010.

Just came back home from work . I had a early morning shift.
I did see some spots on 6mtr. I know that the setup i’m using is little.
Only radio power with a 4 elm on a SteppIr beam. It’s not the best option.
But we have to deal with it. Any other antenna is not possible.
I made a very nice qso with Vince EA6AM. He was booming 5/9++
A small recording from the qso after me. He had a small pile up hihi.

As from 2008 the boys from Pi4cc are on air again with OH0/Homecall.
They will opperate in many modes and bands.
It’s funn to chase them on all bands as i did in 2008. Gives you a drive to work them as many times as before. I did recieve a very nice Aland award 🙂 Wim PA2AM came up with this special idea. It’s still on my door from the shack. Proud that i am hihi.
They euquipment they have.

28-05-2010 Update 2: After two weeks of OH0 the expedition comes to an end. The Ham opperators are packing there stuff and are ready to drive home. I manage to work them for a small amount of 55 times. They where asking themselves. PE2MC how does i do it. Is he also transmitting on he work? ( answer no guys.) I’m working shifts and thats the main reason that i can work DX during the day time. If you like to see how much slots you work with OH0 go to http://www.pi4cc.nl/dx-trip/2010OH0/log/index.htm

But to confirm your qso’s the only way to do this is by LOTW.
This options is aproved by the Arrl. And it’s allowed to count the Dxcc.
To set this up is very easy. Many people before me done this allready.
So get online and get your Lotw today.
Asign for a Lotw and send a copy of your license to the arrl.
In a few weeks time you will get your Lotw encrypted file for the Lotw TQSL program.
Here a small explanation how to setup Lotw in a good order.
– Register your Lotw
– Download the TQSL program and install
– Send a Copy of your license
– After a few weeks time install the encrypted file for TQSL.
– Make a encypted file to upload from your adi file.
– Upload this to LOTW after login
Those Dxcc that you don’t have confirmed via Qsl count as a Dxcc. Isn’t that kewl.
